The art of the figure-maker is to give life to that noble earth which has bathed in water and sunshine and carries the scent of Provence : clay.
The clay is delivered in cellophane packages of 25 kg, ready to use.
The first work for the craftsman is the creation. The initial object is sculpted by hand using box-wood carving chisels that the craftsman makes himself.
Once the subject has been created, a plaster mould is made in order to reproduce the figures in numerous examples. |
